This policy applies to the Grabclo mobile application and the grabclo.app website.

1. Overview

Grabclo is an AI-powered personal styling application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Grabclo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

Name and email address, collected when you sign in with Google (via Google OAuth).
Profile photo (optional), if you choose to upload one.

Personal measurements

Height, weight, and clothing sizes (tops, bottoms, shoes), entered voluntarily by you in your profile. These are used solely to improve outfit and size recommendations.

Style preferences

Aesthetic and style tags, budget range, and gender preference, selected during onboarding and editable in your profile at any time.

Body and selfie photos

We treat these with particular care given their sensitivity:

Full-body photos you upload for the virtual try-on feature are stored in our storage systems (Supabase Storage) so you can reuse them for future try-ons without re-uploading.
These photos are sent to third-party AI processing services (currently our AI processing infrastructure) solely to generate your try-on result. They are used to provide the feature you requested — not for advertising.
You can delete your photos at any time by deleting them in the app or deleting your account (see Sections 6 and 7).
We do not use your body photos to identify you biometrically, and we do not sell them or share them for marketing purposes.

Wardrobe photos

Photos of clothing items you upload are stored in Supabase Storage and processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to automatically tag them (category, color, brand, and similar attributes).

Usage data

App interactions and feature usage patterns, stored in our database (Supabase). We do not currently use any third-party analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel). If this changes, we will update this policy.

Location

We request location permission to provide weather-based outfit suggestions. We use city-level location only — not precise GPS tracking — and it is used in real time to fetch weather data. Your location is not stored.

Camera

Camera access is used for the Style Radar feature (scanning outfits and clothing items) and for capturing selfies for try-on. Photos taken with the camera are not stored unless you explicitly save them.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the core service: virtual try-on, AI outfit generation, wardrobe tagging and analysis, and personalized product recommendations.
To operate and secure your account.
To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns.
To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or personal data for third-party advertising.

4. Who We Share Data With

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Grabclo:

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and our agreements with them. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Grabclo or others.

5. Affiliate Links and Tracking

Product links in Grabclo may be affiliate links. When you tap a product link, the retailer (such as Amazon or ASOS) may set cookies or use similar tracking to attribute any purchase to Grabclo, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This tracking is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy. Beyond these affiliate mechanisms and the services listed above, the Grabclo app does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

6. Data Retention

Account data: retained for as long as your account exists.
Selfie and wardrobe photos: retained until you delete them or delete your account.
After account deletion: all your personal data, including photos in storage, is deleted within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Access: you can view your data in the app under your profile and settings.
Deletion: you can delete your account and all associated data — including photos — directly in the app via Settings → Delete Account.
Export: you can request an export of your data by contacting hello@grabclo.app from your account email.
Corrections: you can edit your profile, measurements, and preferences in the app at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

Grabclo is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@grabclo.app and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure located in the European Union. AI processing (including virtual try-on and wardrobe tagging) may involve servers located in the United States. If you use Grabclo from outside these regions — including from Morocco and the wider MENA region — your information will be transferred to and processed in these locations. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy wherever it is processed.

10. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU/EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact hello@grabclo.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact hello@grabclo.app.

12. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated access to storage, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law in the event of a data breach affecting your personal data.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Grabclo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
